Water quality advisory lifted for Battle River at Riverdale Mini-Park

WAINWRIGHT – Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the water quality advisory that was issued June 22, 2022  for the Battle River at the Riverdale Mini-Park beach, located within the Central Zone of Alberta Health Services (AHS).  

Water quality has returned to an acceptable level and the health risk is low for usage of the beach for recreational purposes. 

As always, visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any lake or reservoir, at any time.
