CHESTERMERE – Effective immediately, Alberta Health Services (AHS) has lifted the water quality advisory that was issued June 17, 2022, for the water of Chestermere Lake at Anniversary Park Beach, Cove Park Beach, and Sunset Park Beach, located within the Calgary Zone of Alberta Health Services (AHS).
Water quality has returned to an acceptable level and the health risk is low for usage of these beaches for recreational purposes.
As always, visitors and residents are reminded to never drink or cook with untreated water directly from any lake or reservoir, at any time.
