Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation

EMS applicants must successfully complete a Functional Abilities Recruitment Evaluation (F.A.R.E). The test evaluates a prospective applicant's physical ability/capacity to perform the essential functions of their job without posing a health and safety risk to themselves or others.

Assessment of International Applicants

Are you an international applicant? Provincial paramedic regulators utilize the Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulators (CORP) to assist them in assessing credentials of international applicants before they complete their provincial regulatory requirements.
